An extensive backlot adjacent to Barrandov

An extensive backlot (160,000 square meters), used profusely by filmmakers, is located immediately adjacent to Barrandov’s stages. It includes an artificial embankment and natural horizon and is not encumbered with any of the distracting elements of „modern civilization".

This backlot is the site where films such as Oliver Twist, Brothers Grimm, Joan of Arc, A Knight’s Tale or The Chronicles of Narnia were created.
